Showdown Brewing in Senate Over Immigration Reform

A showdown on comprehensive immigration reform is set for next week as Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid announced Wednesday that in the face of Republican filibuster threats he intends to bring to the floor the now unpopular bill that passed the Senate last year. If it is unpopular why are you bringing it to the floor?

Everyone has known for months the time frame that we have in the Senate to do this. We have two weeks set aside," Reid, D-Nev., said, adding that he was using the measure merely as a placeholder for a bipartisan bill if one could be reached. Reid said he would permit "an open amendment process." No you are using this for you own political agenda, you know it and I know it, and the American People know it.

Republicans who have been involved in backroom meetings with Democrats and White House negotiators skeptical of Reid's motives said they see the majority leader's move as a hostile one that could very well torpedo an intense, months long effort to design a compromise. You cannot compromise with liberal Democrats. It's almost impossible to do. They continually want to do that that wont work, or make things worse.

The Bush administration is also interested in a new bill. Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff and Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez began meeting with interested Republicans senators months ago at the request of Republican Conference Chairman Sen Jon Kyle of Arizona.

Those negotiators agreed that the bill passed last year, authored by Democratic Sen. Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts as well as McCain, Specter, and Martinez is dead in the water this time around. Gone now are provisions for unlimited family migration, a special path to citizenship for the 12 million illegals in the United States and an acknowledgment that merit needs to play a more prominent role in the doling out of work visas for a temporary guest worker program. Unlimited family immigration? Are you kidding me? Do you idiot liberals understand how many people would be coming into this country if you allowed this? Why are illegals getting a special path to citizenship? Please explain it to me.

I am not in agreement with giving special privileges to illegal aliens. Why can't it be done the legal way like most people do? It's time to stop giving in to illegal aliens and just giving them a "free pass." We are the most liberal country in the world allowing anyone to come here whenever they please. If done the legal way all fine and good but to pander to illegal aliens is wrong.

Pelosi Threatens to Sue Bush Over Iraq Bill

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has threatened to take President Bush to court if he issues a signing statement as a way of sidestepping a carefully crafted compromise to the Iraq War Bill.

Pelosi recently told liberal bloggers, "We can take the President to court " if he issues a signing statement according to Kid Oakland, a blogger who covered Pelosi's remarks for a liberal website. Does she really think she has any chance of winning this in a court of law? What is wrong with these liberal morons. Everyday I read this non sense it makes me think the country is heading straight into the toilet. Talk about a lawsuit that is frivolous, this one takes the cake and the whole bakery.

In the 1970's the Democratic controlled Congress tried to do the same thing. They tried taking President Nixon to court to try and stop the bombing of Cambodia. The ruling by the judge said Congress cannot sue solely to obtain outcomes they could not secure in Congress. Psst you liberal wackos, you are trying to do the same thing and it wont work. Quit trying to take America down. You seem not to like America. Move to another country.

Justice Dept. Allows Immunity Deal for Former Gonzales Aide's Testimony

The Justice Dept cleared the way yesterday for a limited immunity deal between House investigators and Monica M. Goodling, a former top Justice aide who has refused to answer questions about her role in last year's firing of eight U.S. attorneys.

It means she will testify in front of the House Judiciary Committee. I wonder why? She just didn't decide to testify on her own. The liberal morons who are running this "fishing expedition" obviously threatened her. As I have stated before, I do not have a lot of confidence in the Attorney General Alberto Gonzales simply because he developed amnesia by not remembering "key meetings."

I do not believe Alberto Gonzales or anyone else did anything wrong. The fired attorneys serve at the "pleasure of the President, and can be fired at any time for any reason." The liberal morons that are running this however don't see it this way. Their goal is to undermine this President in any way possible to divert attention away from themselves. Every new President hires and fires, and has the authority to do so. Get over it you liberal buffoons.

Crowd Packs Amphitheater For Man Claiming He is Jesus Christ

A controversial religious figure who claims he is Jesus Christ incarnate with a following of millions with "666" tattoos on their bodies filled an amphitheater in Orlando this weekend.

Orlando police officers stood guard around Lake Eola amphitheater as Dr. Jose Luis De Jesus Miranda 61, arrived in the city Saturday. Miranda who has been banned from three countries stated he is Jesus Christ re-incarnated.

He was born in Puerto Rico and admits to be a recovering heroine addict. He also was in prison three times on drug and petty theft charges.

Laurie David and Sheryl Crow banded together and came up with the brilliant plan that one sheet of toilet paper be issued for each individual, unless some other circumstances prevailed. I don't have to say what they are. I would hope most people would be able to figure that out. You and Laurie David continue to try and spew your global warming BS, but fly on private jets that release in the atmosphere exactly what you are trying to tell other people not to do. House Democrats not Ready to Back Down on Iraq Debate

Congressional Democrats have said they are not ready to back down on Iraq, causing Republicans to accuse them of political gridlock.

Bush and Congress have been discussing a possible compromise on a war spending bill needed to finance combat operations through September. The President demands the money with no strings attached. and has found strong Republican support. The Democrats say Bush will have to accept some conditions on the U.S. commitment in Iraq because of the wars unpopularity among voters.

Liberal Democrats are continuing to play politics and trying to push their political agenda on the President, as well as the people of the United States. These liberal morons only care about themselves and to hell with you and me, and this country. Liberals love failure, this way they can spin it and blame someone other than themselves.

"It has taken almost four and a half years, but it appears the President finally is willing to consider what most Americans and members of Congress have known: we must change the course in Iraq and move toward a strategy that will make our country more secure," said Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

Clinton Changes Tone on Iraq

Democrats are searching for new ways to bring an end to the conflict in Iraq. Hillary Clinton, yesterday endorsed legislation that would revoke the administration's authority to wage war. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) took the Senate floor to join Appropriations Committee Chairman Robert C Byrd in offering a bill that would sunset the 2002 authorization of military operations in Iraq. It would take away the president's authority to wage war in Iraq five years to the day it was granted, meaning Bush would be required to convince Congress to re -approve in October.

I can see the liberal morons are at it again trying to undermine the President yet again. I am wondering when they are going to learn or understand all they are doing is hurting themselves. They are painting themselves in a corner with no way out. Did they not vote for the war initially? Yes they did. The House and Senate are trying to micro-manage as they did in the Vietnam War, and it proved fatal then , and it will now if left to the Democrats.

Hillary Clinton is a liability to the Democrats. How she cannot see it is beyond me. Her liability is she voted to authorize the war. The main stream media however will let this go uncontested as they always do with liberals, only reporting what they want even though they would have Clinton "dead to rights" on this issue. House Fails to Override Bush Veto of Iraq War Spending Bill

President Bush as promised, sat down House and Senate leaders of both parties to figure out the next version of the Iraq war spending bill. "Yesterday was a day that highlighted differences," Bush said of his refusal to sign the bill. "Today is the day we can work together to find common ground."

To be able to find common ground with liberals who have a defeatist rhetoric is almost impossible to do. To have a bill that sets time-tables for withdrawal is ridiculous. It would have told the insurgents in Iraq to wait it out till they leave. Guess what happens then? Its the same as it was before the United States entered Iraq. It would also give a clear signal to other countries in the Middle East, the United States can't keep its word.

Our resident geniuses Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) and House Speaker Nancy "Stretch" Pelosi (D-CA) sat stone-faced as the cameras snapped them sitting in the cabinet room on each side of the President. I guess the liberals have run out of ideas. I think they didn't really believe the President would actually veto this bill. You are both schmucks and are ignorant beyond belief. Despite offering few specifics, Reid said the meeting was positive.

Reid went on to say they had sent him a bill that was representative of the American People. If it was the will of the American people you horses behind , you would have had all the votes you needed to override the veto. I didn't hear American People say the war is lost, and I don't know anyone who has either except you. Guess what schmuck, its not the will and you know it.

As you can see the Democrats make excuse after excuse, trying to put the blame on anyone except them. The veto was their fault plain and simple. I am just glad we have a President that stands up for what he believes, and doesn't change his mind whichever way the wind blows. Bush,Democrats to Meet Today on Iraq

President Bush meets today with Democrats and Republicans from Congress to work on an Iraq funding measure both sides can accept.

Bush's veto of an Iraq spending bill that set time-table for U.S. troop withdraws puts new pressure on Democrats in congress to draft a compromise.

The party's most liberal members especially in the House, say they will vote against any money for continuing the war if there is no binding language on troop withdraw. Folks, you would have thought the liberals would have learned after the President vetoed their legislation. This is how liberals think. They have no logic inside of themselves at all. Everything they try to do basically backfires, or makes things worse.

President Bush has said it would cause chaos to have a time-table for troop withdrawal. It would also cause confusion among the troops. It makes no sense to tell the enemy of our plans in advance.

This standoff gives the Republicans leverage. Democrats do not have enough votes. to override the veto, and it may force Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to seek Republican help in drafting a new bill the President might accept. The Democrats as always are going to put a time-table in the new bill. Bush again in my opinion will veto it if they do. Again the liberal Democrats seek to undermine this President any way they can. It seems they are to ignorant to see that they are the cause of all the problems. Another fine example of liberals playing politics and caring about themselves and no one else.

Biden: We're Going to Shove Bush Veto Down His Throat

White House hopeful Senator Joseph Biden (D-DE) recently told a supporter that after President Bush vetoes the Iraq war funding legislation, "we're going to shove it down his throat." Shove it down his throat? Are you and the rest of the liberal morons going to hold him down and force feed him? I can see why you have not a snowballs chance in hell of winning the White House. You have as much chance as I do winning the Florida Lottery, and since I don't play, you have no chance.

A guest asks the question whats going to be on the next version of the bill? Biden responds: The idea that we're not building new Humvees with the v-shaped things is just crap. Kids are dying that don't have to die. I will agree with you there Senator Biden. Kids are dying because you introduce a bill that is filled with more pork in it than as I have said earlier "Miss Piggy's Ass," but you still try and play politics when troops lives are on the line, and you are the one who is hurting them not the President.

Immigrants Gear up for Nationwide Marches

Pro-immigration activist (Liberals for those of you that don't know) are gearing up for marches in various U.S. cities on Tuesday to demand rights for illegal immigrants. Demand rights for being illegal? I can see why liberals think the way they do, it makes no sense? What happened to legal immigration? We are the only country in the world that allows everyone to come here as they please. Remember the Mariel Boat Lift from Cuba? Most, not all were criminals that Castro released from prison.

The activist are calling for an end to the crackdown on illegal immigrants. See how liberals think? It's pathetic to say the least. Federal legislation that would have created a guest-worker program and offered many illegal immigrants a shot at citizenship failed last year in the face of stiff opposition from a group of Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives. Protesters are calling for an end to deportations, which have been on the rise during the past year, along with increased numbers of immigration raids across the country.

Lets look at this from a logical standpoint. If the immigrants were of legal status, would they be deported? The obvious answer is no. The illegal immigrants that are here in this country, do we know anything about them at all? Do we know if they are criminals? or have a criminal background? The answer is obviously no. Should the United States allow illegals to be here ? I for one say no. Do it legally, or have a nice trip.

Gonzales Aides had Firing Authority

Attorney General Alberto Gonzales gave two top aides authority to hire and fire political appointees other than U.S. attorneys, according to a Justice Department report.

The March 2006 order gave Gonzales' Kyle Sampson and Monica Goodling authority to hire and fire about 135 politically appointed Justice Department employees who did not require Senate confirmation. The order was first reported by National Journal.

When Gonzales first issued the order, Justice Department officials were well into the process of determining which U.S. attorneys to fire. The list was narrowed to eight U.S. attorneys, and their dismissals began in December. The liberal Democrats pounced all over this like a tiger pouncing on a gazelle. They whined and cried foul, saying they were not informed.

The Justice Department pushed back saying Gonzales never relinquished authority over the hiring and firings. Let me and try to make this as clear as I can. "Political Appointees," or non-career employees serve at the pleasure of the President and can be fired at anytime for any reason. Are you ignorant liberals trying to tell me when Clinton won the White House no one was fired? I don't remember hearing any whining and crying then. Get over it, Move on. Nothing illegal was done, but I still do not have confidence in the Attorney General at this time since he suddenly developed amnesia.

Bush Ready to Veto Iraq Funding Bill

For President Bush, its not a matter of whether he will veto a congressional measure calling for withdrawing troops from Iraq, but rather when he will do it. Democratic congressional aides said they anticipate Bush will reject the Iraq funding bill Wednesday after receiving it from Capitol Hill on Tuesday. I agree he will veto it as well. He has said he will if time-tables are implemented in this bill. The Democrats will then say the President doesn't want to fund the troops and make it look like it is his fault, when if fact it is the liberal Democrats in Washington who are "playing politics" with our American Troops.

Included in this bill is funding for "non-military projects." In other words, it's filled with pork-barrel spending. Do you really believe the President is so blind he would not see all of this? President Bush has said he wishes to work with Democrats, but he has made it clear he will not give in on the question of setting time-table for withdrawal. Setting time-tables in my opinion is nothing more than surrendering and admitting defeat, as in the case of Harry Reid (D-NV) has said last week.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) urged the President to reconsider his veto promise. "If the President wonders why the American People have lost patience, it is because the news out of Iraq grows worse by the day." I am curious "Dingy Harry." What does your defeatist rhetoric accomplish when you said the war is lost? I haven't lost patience so don't speak for me. You seek to only undermine the President every step of the way with your idiotic ideas and nonsense. The difference between you and me is simple even for your feeble mind to grasp. You are a coward and a racist. I am neither.

Diifferences Between Conservatives and Liberals

Conservatives and Liberals approach every issue differently. It is why it is very hard to find compromise between conservatism and liberalism, because not only are liberals almost always wrong, their solutions almost always make things worse.

Let me take a few moments to explain some key differences between liberals and conservatives.

Conservatives believe individual Americans have the right to defend themselves and their families bearing arms, and the right cannot be taken away without a Constitutional Amendment. Liberals believe that taking away arms from law abiding citizens, can prevent criminals from using arms in the commission of a crime. This is the most idiotic way of thinking I have ever seen.

Conservatives believe we should live in a color blind society where every person is judged on the content of his character and his or her merits. Liberals believe its OK to discriminate based on race as long as it primarily benefits minority groups.

Conservatives are capitalist and believe entrepreneurs who obtain wealth through their own efforts are good for the country and should not be punished. Liberals are not capitalist they are socialist meaning, who believe capitalist somehow cheated the system and got lucky. No wonder you liberals are morons.

Conservatives believe abortion ends life of an innocent child. Most liberals despite what they tell you, believe abortion ends life, but they prefer killing of the baby instead of inconveniencing the mother.

Conservatives believe in confronting and fighting the enemy before they harm citizens of the United States. Liberals believe in using law enforcement to deal with terrorism which means they allow terrorist to train, plan, and attempt to kill Americans before we try to arrest them.

These are just a few differences between conservatives and liberals. Which are you? I for one am not a liberal in any way. I find it hard to fathom that any one would think like a liberal. Their ideas only undermine everything in American society today.

Bush Veto of Iraq War Bill Will Delay Minimum Wage Increase

Increasing the minimum wage should be easy considering the Democrats control both the House and Congress. Again the liberal Democrats shoot themselves in the foot, and will try to spin this fiasco in their favor. Instead of just voting on the minimum wage separately, they decided to attach it to the Iraq bill set with a time-table for withdrawal. The President has said he will veto this bill and is "dead on arrival."

The liberals buffoons will then say the President doesn't care about the homeless, poverty, welfare etc trying to distract attention away from themselves. I for one do not buy it. Why did you Einstein's attach this to a bill you knew would be vetoed before you even passed it? Why didn't you just have a minimum wage bill? I can see we have a lot of "Rocket Scientists" on Capitol Hill these days. (not) Harry Reid (D-NV) and Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) decided to attach this to the bill. The fact of the matter is it would have been passed already if it had not been attached to the Iraq bill.

Its time for the American People to wake up, and stop the liberal morons from trying to ruin this country and take it into the toilet. Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are not the answer. The both of them put together don't add up to being as the new show on televisions says, "are you smarter than a fifth grader."

Murtha Says Dems Considering Impeachment

Rep. John Murtha (D-PA) said Sunday Democrats in Congress should consider impeachment as a way to pressure President Bush of his handling of Iraq. Seems to me this is "strong-arming" for the most part. You sign the bill the way it is, and if you don't we will make up lies and try to have you impeached. Give it up Murtha you and all your liberal "pea brains." Do you think the American People cant see by your message you are in fact hurting the troops. You want us to believe it is the President who is? President Bush has already stated he will not sign it with a time-table attached to it and all the pork it is lined with as well, before it was even passed. It has more pork attached to it than the ass of "Missy Piggy."

Let's take a look at you Mr. Murtha, and I say that sarcastically. You want to profess to be high and mighty, and you do no wrong. I disagree , and I will tell you why. The main stream media (liberal media) wont report tapes have turned up from the ABSCAM scandal of the 1970s in which you John Murtha are negotiating with undercover agents over bribes. You were not indicted, but were named by the FBI as a co-conspirator. Who did you pay off or who did you threaten like you are doing right now?

Bush Says "I'll Veto Any War-Funding Bill Containing Timetable for Iraq Withdrawal

President Bush on Friday said, "If the Congress wants to test my will as to whether I'll accept a timetable for withdrawal, I won't accept one," Bush said during a press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at Camp David, Md.

The president stood by his position to try and allow time for his strategy to work on the ground in Iraq, before setting a timetable.

"If they want to try again that which I've said is unacceptable, of course I wont accept it. I hope it won't come to that."

Bush has said after he vetoes the bill, he wants congressional leaders to come to the White House to discuss a "way forward" in Iraq.

The White House called the bill, "dead before arrival." The Senate passed the measure 51-46, 80 days after Bush sent his budget request to Congress.

Ladies and Gentlemen, 80 days? Does this not show the liberals in Washington are indeed playing politics by taking 80 days to craft and vote on a bill? It also shows how the Democrats do not care , knowing that their bill is dead before arrival on the President's desk. Two Republicans , 48 Democrats and one independent voted in favor of this bill.

"We have carried forth the wishes of the American people," said Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. (D-NV) What wishes are those? Do the American people want the troops not to be funded? Do they want our troops to not have the proper equipment? Knowing this bill is dead before arrival is not what the American people want. This coming from a man who was a known Klansman. How the people in Nevada elected a racist is beyond me. I think it's time for a change.

Let's pass a bill that is acceptable to the President and stop playing politics. The bill was a waste of time knowing it would be vetoed before it was ever passed. The bottom line is the only people that it is hurting is our troops and it is pretty apparent the Democrats do not care by sending this bill to the President's desk.

Iraq Bill Clears Congress Veto Awaits

In a wartime challenge to President Bush Congressional Democrats cleared legislation Thursday to begin withdraw of U.S. troops from Iraq by Oct 1 with a goal of complete withdraw six months later. Gee I wonder what message this is sending to the terrorists? As I have said before, do you think they are not watching this absurdity unfold? Are they not waiting so they can plan their next move? Why not just have the top ranking military leaders in Iraq let them know what their plans are as well. It is the same thing in reality. It is no different that what the liberal Democrats in Washington are doing.

In my opinion this is almost on the verge of treason. Harry Reid (D-NV) has said the "war is lost." The president will veto this legislation plain and simple. It calls for a time-table for withdraw and has more pork in it than a package of Jimmy Dean sausage. This my friends is exactly how the liberals undermine the President by adding things that only fit their political agenda. After President Bush vetoes this legislation, the liberals in Washington will spin this saying the President doesn't care about the troops, families etc. They also know they do not have a two-thirds majority in the House or Senate to override this veto.

The American People may be tired of this whole Iraq business, but I don't think they would compromise the safety and security of our troops or the nation as the Democrats have shown so far. Putting together legislation that undermines the troops effectiveness not only shows the ignorance of Libs, but shows they care less about our safety and security as well as this countrys.

Dennis Kucinich Plans to File Articles of Impeachment

Rep Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) has not found any sponsors for articles of impeachment against President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney that he plans to introduce Tuesday,but he said he encourages other members to read the charges. I wonder why you have not found any sponsors? The facts are clear you do not have any clear support, and have clearly demonstrated your lack of judgement and character. You as well as other liberal Democrats wish to undermine everything America stands for with your politics.

Kucinich is a 2008 presidential candidate. His proposal comes ahead of a series of protest this weekend calling for the impeachment of both Bush and Cheney. Dick Cheney on Tuesday returned to George Washington Hospital to have his leg checked out.

Kucinich had planned to explain the charges on Tuesday, but delayed because of Cheney's visit to the hospital. Why is there a delay if in fact these charges are legitimate? I find this to be no more than a "fishing expedition," except you have no bait on the hook. You wonder why you have no support? I know because the charges are "unfounded."

This whole fiasco is being brought up by the Democratic activists because they believe Bush and Cheney "misled the nation." Bush and Cheney never mislead the nation. The facts are clear to which they have stated numerous times , they went with the information that was given to them at the time. How can one mislead the nation with information that was given to them at the time may have proved false? The answer is simple it was not a lie. Giuliani Defends Comments on Terrorism

Rudy Giuliani has suggested the United States could face another terrorist attack if a Democrat is elected in 2008. Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) says Giuliani has taken politics to a new low and believe Americans are ready to reject those kinds of politics. What kind of politics Sen. Obama? Is it because he tells it like it is unlike the Democrats trying to spin and sugar coat every single issue, and undermine everything the President is trying to do?

Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) said protecting the country from terrorism "Shouldn't be a political football." I am just curious what you and your husband accomplished while in the White House? What good did you do for America? Former President William Clinton succeeded in almost bringing this country to its knees economically. He had Bin Laden handed to him twice and refused each time. What have you done to combat terrorism? You have done nothing. You and I both know it and so do the American People. You husband was to busy in the "Oral Orifice" not having sexual relations as he put it.

I support Giuliani in every way. He sees terrorism as a threat and wants to face them head on instead of trying diplomacy as the Democrats wish to do. Diplomacy has not worked in the past nor will it work in the future. I am sick and tired of the Democrats defeatist rhetoric and undermining America every step of the way.

Rep Hunter tells Harry Reid to step down as Senate Majority Leader

Duncan Hunter (R-CA) the ranking Republican in the House Armed Services Committee called on the Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) to step down over his comments that the "war is lost."

Rep. Hunter- a 2008 presidential candidate-wrote in a letter that Reid's comments "can have no effect but to demoralize the brave men and women, who are honorably fulfilling their mission in Iraq, and to encourage our adversaries."

Rep Hunter, I think you are right on and I wish more members of Congress would stand up and be counted on this issue. Harry Reid needs to resign. He is nothing more than a Benedict Arnold, by letting the terrorists know of our plans in advance. His defeatist rhetoric is doing no good for our nation, or the troops on the ground.

Rep. Hunter went on to say, "Even if you sincerely believe it to be true, your pronouncement of failure will undoubtedly be used by terrorist leader to rally their followers-inevitably leading to increased attacks on the US and coalition forces." It will indeed cause just this Harry Reid. Why not just call the terrorist on the telephone? Better yet, just email them. I am sure they are watching your fiasco as much as the American People are. It's time for you to go "Dingy Harry." You are a traitor and do not deserve to be in the Senate or be the Majority Leader.

Obama says Giuliani Shouldnt Say U.S. faces an Attack if Democrat is Elected

Obama (D-IL) has no clue on this issue. After the attack on the World Trade Centers in 1993 it was treated as a police action. Who was President at the time? I believe it was none other than "Slick Willy" Clinton. Maybe he was to busy in the "Oral Orifice" to even really care. I am sure it is not the first time he did it, nor the last.

By taking this as police action it puts everyone on the defensive. It makes people sit by and not take action until action is taken against them. Clinton knew Bin Laden was the so called "Mastermind," but took no action, not once, but twice. He had him handed to him on a silver platter and refused.

Giuliani has said " We will remain on offense" trying to anticipate what the terrorist are going to do and "trying to stop them before they do it." I agree with that statement 100 percent. Are the American people going to sit here and listen to these liberal morons undermining everything we do to try and stop terrorism? I say no. Stand up and be heard. Let your Senators know how you feel. I will agree the American People may be tired of this Iraq episode. We do however have to finish what we started unlike the liberal morons in Washington, who wish to micro-manage this war just as they did in Vietnam.

House Speaker Pelosi Wont Attend Briefing

The House and Senate are preparing to vote on the final conference report on the $124 billion troop funding bill, which mandates US troops withdraw from Iraq October 1 at the latest. General Patreaus is scheduled to brief lawmakers on Thursday.

News has spread, however, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) will not attend the briefing. Do you have something far more important to do? Do you not have the common courage to see these ridiculous ideas you and your liberal morons present are detrimental to say the least? You will fund the war but you put a time-table for ending it. Is it because you think with the majority it will pass? It may pass, but will be vetoed by President Bush. As I have stated before, you do not have two-thirds majority to override the veto. So I ask why are you wasting time on something that will be vetoed? The answer is simple. Liberals only care about their own ideas and to hell with anyone else's ideas. No normal person would vote for this bill with the things you and your Benedict Arnold cohorts have placed in the bill.

Pelosi also requested a one- on- one meeting with Patreaus, but was not able to be worked out. Are you to high and holy to attend the regular meeting with the other House Members?
Your absence not only is irresponsible but in my opinion it is a "Dereliction of Duty." You and your liberal cohorts keep trying to undermine every issue. Keep saying your defeatist rhetoric. The liberal views are the same now as when for 40 years the Liberals in Washington had control. It did not work then and it certainly wont work now. President Bush Stands Firm

President Bush is standing firm against a timetable for withdrawing troops from Iraq. He said he will veto the latest bill in Congress.

President Bush said, " I am disappointed that the Democratic leadership has chosen this course." The Democrats chose to make a political statement rather than do what is right for the country. I find this not only to be demoralizing to the American People but also to the troops. Democrats would need a two-thirds majority to override a Presidential veto.

Democrats have said they will not back down and pointed to past remarks by the new Iraq commander General David Patraeus, and said security in Iraq needs a political solution. Are you NUTS? Did we not try a political solution before our troops went into Iraq? Did it work? The answer is no it did not. Again the Democrats want to again try diplomacy when dealing with terrorist and continually want to undermine the President every step of the way. This is how Liberalism works ladies and gentleman.

Sen. Harry Reid(D-NV) again his same defeatist rhetoric by saying, he likened Bush to President Lyndon Johnson who ordered more troops to Vietnam in an attempt "to save his political legacy." You are wrong again "Dingy Harry." The liberals in Washington at the time did it all on their own by not letting the troops finish their job there as well. The liberals cut funding, pulled the troops out at a critical time, made this country turn against the troops. In essence "Dingy Harry," you and all your liberal assassins are doing exactly the same thing. I am disgusted beyond belief, and you can day after day look yourself in the mirror with a clear conscience. Give me a break!


This issue is not Republican or Democrat. It is standing by the President Of The United States in a troubled time fighting terrorist. I ask you one thing in closing. Do you want to fight them there or do you want to fight them here and have another horrific tragedy like September 11th? Give the troops what they need and stop this nonsense about a certain withdraw time. Don't you think the terrorist are watching this as well? Diplomacy never worked with terrorist and it never will.

Republican Lawmaker says "Listen to Military on Iraq War"

As Democrats prepare for a showdown on Capitol Hill, Republican lawmaker warned they are making a grave mistake ; by not listening to season commanders. Rep. C.W. Bill Young (R-FL) said "Catastrophe always follows when civilians turn a deaf ear to their military officers." This is one of the first sensible things I have heard in a long time. Where has Bill Young been all this time? Maybe the liberals had him tied up somewhere and he has finally escaped.

Young has also said he doesn't think it is a good idea for Congress to manage the conduct of the war. Bravo for you Mr. Young. Do we want another Vietnam on our hands? This is exactly what happened when the liberals were in charge during the Vietnam War. Do we want this to happen in Iraq as well? I for one say no.

Keep up the great work Mr Young. You have shown your stance takes guts and courage. Let the commanders run this war not the liberals in Washington, who wish to undermine this war at every opportunity and spew their defeatist rhetoric.

The Hypocrite Laurie David

Laurie David, the global warming activist, told Texas A&M students to change their "individual behavior." to use fewer resources to help battle global warming. An employee who worked at the Eastwood Airport, Richard Pawlik witnessed Laurie David fly in on a luxurious private jet. which could be seen ten miles away (clear day) due to the thick black smoke from the exhaust.

I want to point out Laurie David doesn't care about the environment, she only cares about her political agenda along with all the other liberals around the country. Liberals have the idea "Do as I say," Not as I do." All this is ladies and gentleman is at best a scam. It is all a way for them to push their political agenda time and time again. It's very clear to me that you are indeed a hypocrite saying one thing and doing the exact opposite.

House & Senate Agree on War-Funding Bill

The House and Senate negotiators reached an agreement today on war funding legislation that would bring the troops home as early as July. It also includes setting a goal of ending combat no later than March of next year.

The deal will come to final votes in the House and Senate on Wednesday and Thursday. President Bush has said in earlier statements he will veto it. Democrats considered making the dates advisory, hoping by doing this President Bush would sign the bill. Folks, he wont, he will veto it. Harry Reid (D-NV) said Bush "Is the only person who fails to face the wars reality." What reality is that "Dingy Harry?" Is it the reality that you are a quitter and would rather try diplomacy when dealing with terrorist than face them head on?

The reality of this issue you would rather quit on the American People as well as our troops who are fighting for freedom against these terrorist. Again you undermine everything there is to do with freedom and integrity.

Crow Calls For Limited Toilet Paper Usage

Singer Sheryl Crow says a ban on using to much toilet paper should be introduced to help the environment. She suggested each of us use "one square per restroom visit, except, on those pesky occasions where two or three would be required." I don't know about you folks, but one will not work for me and neither do I believe it works for most people.

She has teamed up with environmental activist Laurie David. Sheryl Crow says "I have spent the better part of this tour trying to come up with easy ways for all of us to become a part of the solution to global warming." Crow goes on to say "Although my ideas are in the earliest stages of development, they are, in my mind worth investigating."

In my opinion she should stick to singing and not involve herself in politics. She not only shows how ignorant she really is, but gives other environmental wackos idiotic ideas as well. Seriously folks if everyone had to use one sheet of toilet paper, it would probably cause disease and sickness from dirty hygiene. Toilet paper is bio-degradable. You did not mention this part did you? This is where liberal thinking has taken us, straight into the toilet. Stick to singing Sheryl it is what you do best.

President Bush Backs Gonzales

President Bush today gave a strong vote of confidence to Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez. "This is an honest and honorable man in whom I have confidence," Bush said. The President said Gonzalez's testimony before the judiciary committee increased his confidence. I believe in every aspect of supporting the President, but in this case I am not sure that I can. He responded to about a hundred questions with, "I don't know" or I don't recall"

Gonzalez had been under increased criticism for his handling of the firings of eight prosecutors, and about a key meeting he attended in November. Gonzalez has said he cannot remember anything about the meeting. Is his memory that bad? I can remember the first job I ever had, and he can't remember a key meeting? The Attorney Generals testimony was damaging to say the least. I believe his credibility was damaged beyond repair by his own actions.

Republicans as well have voiced concern whether or not Gonzalez can still do the job as Attorney General. The President of the United States continues to have confidence, but I am not so sure the American People still do.

Harry Reid Is A Benedict Arnold

Since Harry Reid (D-NV) yesterday said "The War Is Lost" he has no idea how it effects the troops nor the families of the troops. He needs to stop as of right now! You cannot support the troops and not support what they do. You cannot have it both ways or decide what your position is whichever direction the wind blows. It is a combat zone plain and simple.

He wants us as a nation to be known as a nation that cannot finish what it starts. He wants the troops to quit even though the majority of the American people are totally against this way of thinking. The troops have not quit in Iraq, and have not quit on the American people.

The people who have served, and their family's know great morale comes from having family support and support from the nation. He is destroying the morale with his defeatist rhetoric. This issue is not Republican or Democrat. It is however about ALL the men and women who were sent to war to FINISH a job. It is the responsibility of Congress to provide funds. In my opinion "Dingy Harry" it is also your job as well. You are nothing more than a Benedict Arnold.

Alberto Gonzales Hearings

Alberto Gonzales was grilled on Capitol Hill Thursday by Democrats in reference to the prosecutor firings. At first he denied claims he had anything to do with the firings. He now has backed down from this statement. The Democrats have gone on the attack along with some Republicans. The White House has said President Bush is "Pleased " with his testimony. Will the White House continue to back him? If so, How long?

Gonzales's earlier statement about the firings were undermined by three of his own aides. My personal feeling is his credibility has been damaged to the point I am not sure how long he will remain Attorney General. Gonzalez also said he "misspoke." The term misspoke to me sounds like another term for intentionally lying as his three top aides gave truthful testimony. How can one apologize for damaging the reputations of these attorneys? Another key point is he answered " I don't know" or "I don't recall" close to 100 questions asked. Do we still have confidence in this man? I, for one do not and question his integrity as a man as well as an Attorney General.

Harry Reid And The War On Terror

Again the Democrats stick their foot in their mouth. It amazes me they haven't learned that every time they open their mouths their liberal views create hate and disdain. Harry Reid (D-NV) on Thursday proclaimed the war in Iraq had been lost. He has not only shown he does not support the troops, it seems his whole party does not support the troops by trying to pass a bill that sets a time table for withdraw, which President Bush has vowed to veto. I find this not only idiotic but cowardly as well. You have a time table to end a war?

My feelings are simply this support the President in the decisions he makes as Commander and Chief. He is doing the best possible job with the tools available to him. The troops are doing everything they can. Our soldiers are dying for freedom and liberty but the liberal Democrats cannot seem to understand. The American people need to stand up and let their voices be heard. The Democrats are wrong on this issue and need to be reminded from time to time this behavior is not acceptable. They support the war initially but as usual have to attach a rider to a bill funding it but want a time table to end it. Good luck your bill will be vetoed and you have not enough support even in your own party to override the veto. Support America not the Middle East
